We know the job because we have done the job.
Keyhowl is co-founded by Ivan and Chris and built with a small team of software and escape room people. Between us, we have been owners, builders, consultants, actors, game masters and very enthusiastic players.
We have played more than 300 rooms across Europe, designed rooms sold abroad and contributed to experiences nominated by TERPECA. That experience keeps Keyhowl grounded in the reality of running a room-not in a generic software playbook.

Keyhowl started with a problem we were tired of working around.
1 of 3
Running our own rooms
Generic tools were buggy, disconnected and never quite matched the way an escape room actually operates.
2 of 3
Building what we needed
We made an internal system around our real bookings, staff workflows, finances and player communication.
3 of 3
Sharing it with the industry
Other local owners asked to use it too. That was the moment an internal tool became Keyhowl.
The name is part keyhole, part owl: Keyhowl [ˈkiː.həʊl] is pronounced just like “keyhole.” A little mysterious, easy to remember and appropriately escape-room-shaped.
What our escape room experience changes for you.
Operations before feature lists
Every decision starts with the full day: bookings, room schedules, staff, payments, customer history and what happens after the game.
Reliability is a Saturday requirement
An escape room system cannot disappear during your busiest shift. Stability is part of the product, not a promise saved for later.
Your feedback reaches the roadmap
We stay close to the people using Keyhowl. Suggestions are discussed by the team building the product and help shape what comes next.
Tell us how your escape room really runs.
Bring us the messy parts-bookings, staff, payments and player follow-up-and we’ll show you how we would handle them in Keyhowl. You’ll speak with people who know the industry and build the product.
